This is based on my current information,it does not reflect to need to make cuts in an area needed to balance the budget. I would need more information from all sides to change any increase/decrease in funding.
Again show me a real need to make changes in any area before I jump to conclusion on a change. In general I feels there does need to be more accountability and control of wasteful spending to allow less taxes in many areas. More taxes alone usually do not fix an issue.
Broad questions that I would want to a closer look at before taking any action. If cuts are made, they should not be done as usual, where they things that directly hurt the public most are cut,to justify a vote on more taxes. Get rid of the frills first.

d) Do you support limits on the following types of contributions to candidates for state government?

Yes a) Should land seized through use of eminent domain be restricted to public use?
Yes b) Do you support limits on the number of terms for Missouri governors?

Yes 2) Political Action Committee
Yes 3) Corporate
Yes 4) Political Party
Yes e) Should candidates for state office be encouraged to meet voluntary spending limits?
Yes f) Do you support requiring full and timely disclosure of campaign finance information?
If a private party wants property, pay the asking price.no matter what the cost. I also support term limits at the federal levels including Congress and the Courts. It is becoming far to easy to "buy" any election with funds from special concerns, this prevents any normal citizen who wants to improve their government from attaining most elected positions.
Yes a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders, such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
Yes c) Should the possession of small amounts of marijuana be decriminalized?
d) Should a minor accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?

Yes f) Do you support a comprehensive ban on text messaging while driving?
No g) Should red light cameras be used to detect traffic violations?
Yes h) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
Depends on the level and type of crime, minors should not be completely immune based on age alone. "e." How about the parents deal with stupid things they do, law enforcement should have better things to do. Cameras make lots of revenue, but do not stop the repeat serious offenders who injure people and just get a slap on the wrist. Immigration laws should be enforced to the fullest by all law enforcement. illegal immigration is a serious crime that harms all Americans. They need to be identified with proper documentation available, penalized for all addition crimes, and removed immediately from the country.
Yes a) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
Yes b) Do you support capping interest rates on payday loans?
c) Do you support increased state funding for job-training programs that re-train displaced workers?
d) Do you support expanding access to unemployment benefits?
e) Do you support providing financial incentives to the private sector for the purpose of job creation?
f) Do you support increased spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
g) Do you support providing direct financial assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure?
To many poor regulations are why many companies don't hire more people. Unfortunately, people cannot make proper financial decisions and need some degree of protection from themselves. If other issues were fixed, there would be no need to hand out all taxpayers monies, to help just a few people in selected industries. If there is a real need for the project, do it. Stop building things just to create temporary relief from joblessness. Why are those that lived within their means being required to support those that cannot properly balance their personal budgets and want the state to pay their bills?
No a) Do you support national education standards?
Yes b) Do you support requiring public schools to administer high school exit exams?
No c) Do you support using a merit pay system for teachers?
d) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
e) Do you support the state government providing college students with financial aid?
No f) Should illegal immigrants who graduate from Missouri high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
The federal government needs to get out of Education. The current system does not involve citizens in deciding educational needs. A basic education that teaches skills for initial entry in to the workforce would be a good start. The continued cry for more taxes for education will not,and has not fixed anything. Illegal immigrants should not be in funded in any taxpayer subsidized benefit, including HS, they are stealing from the education of Americans. During application for enrollment they should be identified, reported to law enforcement and denied enrollment. If they are found to have falsified documentation, charge them with the crime.
a) Do you support state funding for the development of alternative energy?
b) Do you support state funding for the development of traditional domestic energy sources (e.g. coal, natural gas, oil)?
c) Do you support providing financial incentives to farms that produce biofuel crops?
d) Do you support state funding for improvements to Missouri's energy infrastructure?
e) Do you support state funding for open space preservation?
f) Do you support enacting environmental regulations aimed at reducing the effects of climate change?
At what point will they be self sufficient,so that the subsidies stop? Why don't they take out a loan if the project will become profitable, instead of taking taxpayer funds, never to be returned? There are public parks at all levels, Fed,state, local that are underutilized. There is plenty of open space now,its called private property. I support minimizing the impact of pollution to the environment. This does not mean we enact laws that raise our electrical rates by 400%,tax gas at $5.00 a gallon and other things that will cripple the economy. Private enterprise's profits will drive technology that will reduce pollution.
No a) Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
No b) Do you support requiring background checks on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Do you support allowing individuals to carry concealed guns?
No d) Do you support requiring a license for gun possession?
I fully support the 2nd amendment. I have no big issues with a concealed weapons permit or full auto license, by do not see a need for a license to own a weapon.
No a) Do you support a universally-accessible, publicly-administered health insurance option?
Yes b) Do you support expanding access to health care through commercial health insurance reform?
c) Do you support interstate health insurance compacts?
No d) Should individuals be required to purchase health care insurance?
e) Do you support monetary limits on damages that can be collected in malpractice lawsuits?
f) Do you support legalizing physician-assisted suicide in Missouri?
g) Do you support allowing doctors to prescribe marijuana to their patients for medicinal purposes?
Health care needs reform, not the bill that was passed buy Congress. I agree with Missourians vote on Prop C, why can Americans be fined, jailed for no health insurance, when illegals are not,and are provided free health care already? Damages would resolve themselves,if doctors start policing their own and the public had a system to track doctors performance. The state should develop legal documentation that will allow people to make end of life decisions up front, where they determine when to stop treatments, similar to many hospice agreements now. The problem with medical Marijuana is similar to other prescription drugs, uncontrolled use
Yes a) Should marriage only be between one man and one woman?
b) Should Missouri allow same-sex couples to form civil unions?
Yes c) Do you support state funding for stem cell research?
No d) Do you support state funding for embryonic stem cell research?
No e) Do you support the state's use of affirmative action?
No f) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Missouri's anti-discrimination laws?
No g) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Missouri's anti-discrimination laws?
Special benefits should not be allowed. Using personal traits you were born with should not be used to gain preferential hiring or legal status.
Reduction of wasteful spending and wisely spending taxpayer funds. Returning all types of jobs to Missouri, by calling on the federal government to correct the many laws they made which allowed and forced these jobs to be moved outside our borders. Immigration laws on illegal immigration need to be strictly enforced, stop rewarding criminals that break our laws with taxpayer funded aid. Legal immigration needs to be more restrictive with the current economic situation. Reduce Green cards, etc. to provide Americans with jobs, get them off unemployment. We cannot afford to support the world's population on the backs of Americans.
